Benefaction Fund

The Benefaction Fund of PLC is an endowment fund which releases 4-10% of its net asset value on December 31 for mission, outreach and social ministry work outside the congregation's operating budget in the following year.

Members of the congregation are encouraged to seek a grant for organizations with which they are involved that:

  • Give faithful witness to the Gospel,

  • Evidence of good stewardship, and

  • Further the mission of the Church.

Grant applications are available annually from the church office, and are due annually on February 15th.

The Pilgrim Benefaction Fund was established from the 1987 sale of a portion of Pilgrim's property. The Fund is professionally managed and has provided since inception nearly $600,000 for wide ranging local, national and international missions.

Contributions or bequests may be made to the Benefaction Fund to continue and increase its work.
