Confirmation The Pilgrim Confirmation Program includes grades 7-8 for instruction in the Christian faith. Students meet on Sunday morning at 9:30 and ends at approximately 10:30, the class meets from September through April. The course of study is an overview of the bible and the Lutheran Catechism. The program includes: Service projects An additional weekend retreat as needed Mentor program for second year students, students are fitted with an adult member of the church to serve as a faith mentor to the student. An informal faith sharing discussion with the elders of the church for second year students is held prior to their making their Affirmation of Baptism. A faith statement paper is required of all second year students. This is presented to those attending the Confirmation Celebration Dinner. The dinner is held the Saturday before Confirmation Sunday held usually the first Sunday in May. Sunday Worship 8:00 am and 10:45 am with Holy Communion; 9:30 am Sunday School. A staffed Nursery is provided every Sunday from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. Contemporary Worship is on the second Sunday of the month during the 10:45 am service. All other services are generally traditional but frequently offer special music. Wednesday Evening Prayer with Holy Communion 7:00 pm Summer 2007 (Memorial Day through Labor Day) 9:30 am Worship with Holy Communion. No Sunday School
