Christian Education *"Teaching all generations to know and live the Word of God."* Christian Education holds a place of importance in the life of Pilgrim Lutheran Church. There are opportunities for all age groups to grow in their faith. Programming begins for children that have reached age three by September 1 and ends with the eldest participating adult! A nursery is provided during the Sunday school hour for children not meeting the age requirement. A Christian Education Committee meets regularly throughout the year. It is their purpose to implement and oversee the programs. The members currently serving on that board are: Chair, Lynn Willis, Members at large, Annalea Robeson, Barb Lamb, and Susie Pike, Mary Jane Newby is the elder liaison and Gloria Worth is Director of Christian Education. Sunday Worship 8:00 am and 10:45 am with Holy Communion; 9:30 am Sunday School. A staffed Nursery is provided every Sunday from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. Contemporary Worship is on the second Sunday of the month during the 10:45 am service. All other services are generally traditional but frequently offer special music. Wednesday Evening Prayer with Holy Communion 7:00 pm Summer 2007 (Memorial Day through Labor Day) 9:30 am Worship with Holy Communion. No Sunday School
