First Communion A study program for First Communion is offered for children in grade 5, usually in the spring. Children younger than fifth grade may request attendance to the class and their participation will be considered on a case-by-case decision made by Pastor Goertemiller. Parents of fifth grade children are contacted by the Education Director to determine a class date that meets the needs of most families. Dates and details are published in the Sunday bulletin, Pilgrim's Progress and in the calendar of the web page. After completing the Holy Communion workshop, the children will make their First Holy Communion on a Sunday designated as such. Sunday Worship 8:00 am and 10:45 am with Holy Communion; 9:30 am Sunday School. A staffed Nursery is provided every Sunday from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. Contemporary Worship is on the second Sunday of the month during the 10:45 am service. All other services are generally traditional but frequently offer special music. Wednesday Evening Prayer with Holy Communion 7:00 pm Summer 2007 (Memorial Day through Labor Day) 9:30 am Worship with Holy Communion. No Sunday School
