A Pilgrimage is a journey inspired by hope and motivated by a sense of
the sacred. The Pilgrimage Center offers encouragement and
direction to individuals, families and communities who are seeking
understanding and peace.
The journey through life brings inevitable changes and loss as we move
from one stage to another. Sometimes these changes will confuse or overwhelm
us, requiring us to reach beyond our usual support systems. Some of life's
obstacles that can challenge our ability to cope include:
Family/Martial
Difficulties
Job/Financial Insecurities
Depression/Anxiety
Prolonged Grief
Alcohol/Drug
Abuse
Major Life/Health Changes
Discrimination/Prejudices
The Pilgrimage Center offers a variety of seminars and workshops and
provides consultation. The Center provides counseling for individuals
and families based upon ability to pay. It is supported by Lutheran
Child and Family Services and a network of participating congregations. Rev. Max Blankenburg, Director, is a certified clinical social worker
specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy.
